The Los Angeles Lakers continue to crash. Tonight (Friday through Saturday) they lost for the 9th time in their last 11 games, surrendering to Memphis 127-113.
LeBron James finished with 32 points and 5 steals but sounded very discouraged at the end of the game: "Right now we're just bad, my son Bronny can play with us now — easily."

For the disappointing Lakers, Anthony Davis' 31 points didn't help LeBron and Darvin Ham's team. Jaren Jackson Jr. scored 31 with 9 rebounds, Marcus Smart contributed 29 points of his own, Desmond Bane finished a tremendous game with 24 points and 13 aces and Ja Morant added 21 points.
As we know, the 19-year-old Bronny returned to play under a minutes limit after the cardiac incident and impressed in an NCAA USC uniform. In the last two games, he has scored in double digits, and his coach is also optimistic about his continued development: "He's getting used to the new situation."

American journalist Shams Charnier reported on Thursday that there was a "growing rift between coach Darvin Ham and the Los Angeles Lakers locker room." The Athletic explained that the background to the rift in the locker room is the new and unclear rotation of the coach, as well as the starting five. This reportedly led to misunderstanding and anger on the part of some of the players in the squad.
